It’s true that us Yorkshire folk are very proud to be from Yorkshire and on Yorkshire Day we must celebrate this fine county that we are lucky to call home. Our blessing is also that Kirkbymoorside sits on the edge of the North York Moors – one of the Yorkshire two National Parks (yes 2 – the other is the Yorkshire Dales in case you were wondering).
But, our annual 10k road race in Kirkbymoorside attracts runners from not only Yorkshire but from all over the country and we’re always pleased to welcome everyone to our town and show off what a beautiful place we have here.
So, do you want to come and see what all the fuss is about and also run a great 10k road race on May Day Sunday in 2018? Of course you do! Well, entries will open on Sunday 1st October so set a reminder in your diary and book your place early avoid disappointment as the event sold out for 2017.
