A really enjoyable run with fantastic local support

A very friendly meeting with a great atmosphere. The crowds were excellent in generating the atmosphere

Always a great day for the town, I felt that this year was one of the best 10k years we’ve had.

Amazing run fantastic crowd support it’s great running downhill to the finish with everyone cheering you on fab marshals great venue to leave bags loo etc quick staff when getting your number really can’t fault any of it well done

As usual this was a well organised and enjoyable event. The only problem I had was with my number at the registration desk but this was resolved very quickly.

Brilliant event and love the mug I received for finishing. Atmosphere is so positive and great to see children being encouraged to run for fun. You are doing a great job and thanks to you runners get to run a super race.

Great Yorkshire day out

Had such a wonderful time, the brass band and the other activities was the essence of Yorkshire! Felt very proud to be there, especially when Nigel cheered me across the line. Thank you!!!

I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere/buzz at the start was superb and the local brass band was the icing on the cake. Great fun.

I didn’t run it this year because of injury but spectated , superb race and will definitely run it next year

I have entered the event for the past 5 years. As always fantastic atmosphere and great organisation.

I love this race. It’s my all time favourite (though NOT the easiest!). The setting is beautiful but what makes it special is the support from great local people and from other runners and their supporters. The whole atmosphere is lovely. I also love seeing the children running.

I really enjoyed this event, everything seemed really well organised and ran smoothly and I hope to return in the future. Support for the event along the course was great too!

It was entirely wonderful. The process of applying- follow up emails, Facebook contact etc all first class the event itself was brilliant from the entertainment to the marshals (who were relentlessly encouraging) I was the last across the finish line and I felt like a superstar with the crowd behind me!! (And the back car!!) I loved it

Loved the whole day. My little girl enjoyed the tractors and the kids dash and I enjoyed the fantastic scenery and downhill finish!

Lovely Run with Great support, especially at the start/finish line

My first 10k and in my home town so no pressure! Great atmosphere and great support all the way round. It was lovely to get shouts of encouragement as you passed the various event staff and the running the final stretch through town was very uplifting and very much needed as my legs had nothing left! Well done to all.

One of the most enjoyable 10ks I’ve ever ran!

Support especially from the local kids was fantastic, they are a credit!The atmosphere was amazing and all the marshals did a fabulous job.

There were lots of water stations which helped enormously and the setup up was excellent.

This is a fabulous event, and as a visitor to my home town I can only say how proud I was to come back and enjoy the event!

Tough start, excellent course overall. Great that it starts & finishes in a great North Yorkshire town.
