One of the things that respondents to our feedback surveys in 2016 and 2017 said was that having a proper bag store would be really helpful. Well, you asked and we have listened and we’re pleased to announce that for 2018 we have organised a proper manned bag store for our 10k runners to use.
When you collect your race number on the event day from our registration office in the Memorial Hall you will also be given a label to fix to your bag. This label will carry your race number on it. You need to attach the label to your bag and deposit it at the sign-posted storage location. More details on the exact logistics will be announced nearer the event and will also be in the pre-race email sent to all entrants.
We’re contually looking at ways to improve this event and listening to feedback from runners and spectators means we do the things that matter. We’re really pleased to be able to offer the bag store in 2018.

Of course, adding this facility does add costs to the event organisation, therefore, the continuation of the bag store in 2019 will depend on how well utilised it is in 2018.
